Teach what you love, teach what we need!

In normal times Henna Cafe is proud to offer high quality education free of charge to local Moroccans in a range of subjects. Those who attend our classes hope to improve their skills, increase their employment prospects, and express their creativity in a fun and free environment.

We are always seeking local and foreign volunteers with the abilities and passion to teach and inspire people of all ages and backgrounds.

No experience necessary – just patience and personality! This is an ideal opportunity for those who would like to give back to the community in Marrakech, as well as those considering pursuing formal training in teaching and wish to gain initial experience.

We offer language classes at beginner and intermediate levels, teaching reading, writing, and conversation. The languages we currently teach are English, French, and German. We also teach philosophy, mathematics, and physics, and offer study groups to prepare students to take their baccalaureate exams, as well as educational workshops for children. Coming soon are classes in Spanish and Theatre.

We are usually seeking volunteers who wish to teach languages at all levels, and we hope to expand our programming in expressive and performance arts. We also hope to offer classes in the sciences.
